Pillowtalk with artist Annie Bolitho

Join artist Annie Bolitho in re-loving old pillow fabric using natural dyes and inks. Have fun dipping, bashing, rolling and steaming colours. And learn how the pillow production and waste stream works.

18th March 2-5pm: Demonstration at Collingwood Harvest Festival, Collingwood Housing Estate.

25th March 11am-2pm: Demonstration at Alphington Community Centre, 2 Kelvin Road, Alphington.

2nd April and 30th April 9am-12pm: Demonstration at Melbourne Farmers Market, 2 Wingrove Street, Alphington.

Annie practices textile arts using the materials found on the lands of Naarm. She has upcycled cotton fabric from over 100 discarded pillows for sewing projects and exhibition. Annie runs community workshops that bring the joy of natural pigments to people of all ages. Her events are designed to be easy and fun, and to feed inspiration!
