Wisdom of Objects is a Melbourne Design Week exhibition of independent designers responding to the premise, that design can be an emotional tool to bring about wellbeing, whether that be intellectual, spiritual or physical. This is explored through one-off pieces and small collections.

Using the intimacy of a front room in a residential dwelling, Wisdom of Objects asks the audience to engage with design in a very intimate way.

The Designers embrace a diversity of perspectives and materials. Their approach to design is a fusion of both artisanal and experimental processes, coupled with contemporary manufacturing methodologies. This intersection creates an exciting space of vigorous exploration, experimentation and originality.

Curator: Eugenie Kawabata

Designers: Richard Greenacre, Mechelle Shooter, Abde Nouamani, Yan Huang, Eugenie Kawabata and Ilan El.
