This month Composite Moving Image features Charlie Sofo's new project 'I slept but my heart was awake'.
Sofo presents a selection of new short form video works that explore objects and scenarios that are intimate and maddening. They include psychic discoveries, annoying encounters, dreams, desires, filmic tropes and a particular attention to the waste end of the commodity spectrum.
Catch 'I slept but my heart was awake' until Saturday 23 March, Composite at Collingwood Yards, 35 Johnston Street, Collingwood. Composite Moving Image is an Artist-Run agency dedicated to supporting artists’ moving image practices in Australia through exhibition, research, education and distribution. Composite is supported through Yarra City Council’s Annual Grants Program.
