Given the extended lockdown in Victoria, the Leaps and Bounds +BEYOND Music Festival program will be put on hold until it is possible to stage events safely again.

We could not be prouder of the 2021 program; it genuinely reflected the enthusiasm, energy and creativity of Yarra's community. This was embraced by our music community with SOLD OUT shows, public appreciation in the community and recognition in the media. There was a buzz about Leaps this year like never before.

Leaps and Bounds Music Festival has been running continuously since 2013; even in 2020 when we went online due to COVID-19.

Leaps was built first and foremost to support the live music sector and initially, this was most needed in the winter when business was slow, this year's festival was to support a sector that has been devastated by COVID-19.

The program developed for Leaps and Bounds +BEYOND 2021 would have employed over 1500 artists, creative workers and allied services. The program included 99 gigs across 66 unique events.

We hope to be able to bring many of these programmed events to the community, eventually. In the meantime, we urge you to continue to support all the people whose livelihoods and sense of purpose are connected to live music in any way you can.
