Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth aged 15-25 participated in their first photography workshop in Fitzroy this week.

During the first session, participants tried out Food Photography at Charcoal Lane. They learned how to photograph (and eat!) Aboriginal inspired dishes.

Yorta Yorta/Yuwaalaraay photographer James Henry facilitated the workshop. These will continue each Thursday from 4 to 6.30pm for the next 5 weeks.

The workshops continue at MAYSAR and other unique Fitzroy locations.

If you are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Youth aged 15-25 years old, it's not too late to take part. Contact us to find out more.

Dhelk Dja North Metro Action Group, Yarra City Arts, MAYSAR and Charcoal Lane proudly support these workshops.
