Fitzroy Showcases are located in the rear corridor at Fitzroy Library at 128 Moor Street, Fitzroy.
Ali MC, Rohinga: Refugee in Crisis in Colour (2017) at Fitzroy Library
The showcases consist of 12 wall-mounted glass double-door cabinets in a busy corridor which leads to the library meeting rooms and staff offices. The cases are suitable for two dimensional works (particularly series of work), jewellery, small sculptural objects and historical exhibitions.
Installations are managed by the exhibiting individuals/groups and labelling will be provided by City of Yarra. A stipend of $650 is provided to each selected artist/group to support an exhibition.
Exhibitions will be for approximately 8 weeks each and will be scheduled between February – April, May – July, August – October and November – December 2018.
