Due to the outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) this space is closed from Wednesday 18th March 2020 until further notice. All bookings in this space have been cancelled.

Located within the popular Fitzroy Library, this room is ideal for meetings, workshops and rehearsals. Fitzroy Library is open 7 days a week and located close to Brunswick and Smith Streets.

Restrictions and further information

  • The Fitzroy Library meeting rooms are available to be booked between 8am and 11pm.
  • A minimum of 10 working days notice is required for all potential bookings.
  • This venue is not available to hire on public holidays.
  • As the meeting rooms are located within the library building, noise levels must be controlled during office and library hours. Noise levels that can be heard outside the room may result in the booking being cancelled and money withheld.
  • For meetings held outside library opening hours, a representative of the hirer must visit the Library prior to the meeting to collect the keys and receive information about opening and closing procedures.
  • Facilities must be left in a clean and orderly state; tables and chairs must be returned to their original places or additional charges may apply.
  • Alcohol is not permitted in this meeting room.

If you’re a first-time user, please register with us.

If you are from an organisation, please ensure you register your organisation and book in the organisation’s name.

Not-for-profit groups may be eligible for a discounted rate. You must first contact us on 9205 5555 or info@yarracity.vic.gov.au to get verified for a discounted rate.
