Darling Gardens
Gold Street, Clifton Hill

With a strong heritage character, Darling Gardens is a peaceful retreat near Queens Parade, Clifton Hill.
This park has plenty of expansive lawns, making it ideal for walking, running and playing. It's shady and sheltered avenues provide cool respite on hot summer days.
The children's playground is a popular spot for families and to catch up with friends.

Personal Trainers are welcome to use this site if they have a permit.
Events
To book the park for an event, you will require an event permit.

Event permit requirements
You will need a permit if one of these conditions apply:
- There will be more than 50 attendees.
- Your event is catered by an external supplier.
- You are charging participants a fee to attend.
- You require amplified sound
- You require vehicle access to drop off equipment.
- Your event requires a specific location.
- You are having a wedding ceremony
- You plan to erect large structures (small 3x3 marquees are permitted: must be weighted down and secured safely. Spikes or pegs are strictly prohibited.)
A minimum of two weeks’ notice is required for all potential permits. The event permit must be carried by the hirer at all times

Alcohol
- Alcohol may be consumed within the park between 9am and 9pm.
- You can't sell Alcohol in the park unless you have a temporary liquor license.
Dogs
Half of the park is designated dog off-leash, making it easy for our 4 legged friends to catch up with their mates.
Dogs are not allowed within the playgrounds at any time. Dogs must be kept on-leash within 10 metres of playground areas.
This park has dog on-leash and dog off-leash zones. The dog off-leash zone is marked in purple.
