Unknown Man Clasps Hand From Cloud - Annual 04

Unknown Man Clasps Hand from Cloud

Artwork by Annual 04

Unknown Man Clasps Hand from Cloud began in 2015 as a response to the domestic chaos endured by its creators as they raised their three children.

The large volume of drawings in this exhibition chronicle the details of their personal lives, from the tedious to the overwhelming, becoming a measure of memory, a study of the nature of forgetting and a celebration of the incidental.

Currently in its fourth year, this innovative mode of storytelling has been going for over 1,500 consecutive days.

Annual 04 was exhibited at at Bargoonga Nganjin from 6 February – 10 May 2020
