Drawing from the garden
Saturday 2 September
1pm to 4pm
This workshop will begin with a tour around the gardens, where participants will be encouraged to collect and gather inspiration for their artworks. We’ll then get together to draw from what we’ve collected in the garden and create an artwork inspired by the natural environment.
Nature still life illustration
Saturday 23 September
1pm to 4pm
This workshop will focus on drawing a still life arranged with produce and natural objects collected from the gardens. After a tour of the gardens, together we’ll arrange a composition and draw the still life using a variety of materials.
Outdoor garden drawing
Thursday 21 September
2pm to 5pm
This workshop will focus on drawing inspiration from our surroundings and different ways to create outdoors. After a tour of the gardens, everyone will be invited to select a scene, composition or plant and have a go at drawing outdoors.
