Yarra City Council is seeking an Expression of Interest (EOI) to engage a suitably qualified and experienced event producer or cultural organisation to deliver two afternoon musical performances on Sunday 2 February and Sunday the 16 February 2025 at the Fairfield Amphitheatre, for $30,000 ex GST.
The Fairfield in Feb series has supported performers and cultural producers in the City of Yarra through the presentation of diverse music and related artforms, such as spoken word and dance, for over twenty years. The successful applicant would expand upon this legacy with their own vision. It offers free, family friendly and accessible participation in the arts for our local community and a purposeful activation in this geographic area of Yarra. It provides important presentation opportunities for local culturally diverse musicians and supports audience development for live music.
The Amphitheatre site has a capacity of 350 seated with a 20m x 10m performance arena. There is a wheelchair platform for access at the top of the theatre. The site includes power, lighting, public toilets and a kiosk for ticketing or catering facilities.
The budget for the appointed contractor is fixed and must include all costs to manage and deliver two free gigs including but not limited to artist fees, production, staffing and marketing as part of Fairfield in Feb.
