Room to Create Charitable Fund Grant

Grant Opportunity for Creative Infrastructure now open!

Applications are now open for the City of Yarra Room to Create Charitable Fund grant program. Applications are invited from eligible organisations for creative infrastructure related projects that would make a significant impact to their venue or place of making. Organisations with joint Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status and Tax Concession Charity (TCC) status are invited to apply up to $12,000 for goods and/or services that will assist the creative space to operate in Yarra.  

Funding is for projects which take place between 1 July 2024 – 30 June 2025.  

Applications have been extended and now close 11:59pm Monday 13 May 2024

The City of Yarra Room to Create Fund is a charitable fund account in partnership with the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation. The Fund was launched in 2014 with the specific purpose of supporting creative infrastructure in the City of Yarra.  Grants from this fund directly support the creative  sector by investing in more affordable spaces and ensuring Yarra remains a key place for the arts.
