A guide to our upgraded online booking system

We've upgraded Yarra’s online booking system to enhance your booking experience and improve system performance.

This upgrade is aimed to streamline the booking process for our users with a fresh new user interface. This will make it easier to make, edit and cancel your bookings at our Venues, Event Spaces, Recreational Venues, Libraries and Meeting Rooms.

During this period, we ask for your patience and understanding as we work through any issues with the roll-out.

Our Venues and Events Admin Team will be onsite and available from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday to support any issues that you may face.

Who do I contact for issues?

If you encounter errors or issues through the booking process, please contact Venues and Events with a screenshot and details of the issue. You can contact us via phone or email from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

When are we doing this?

The system will be upgraded between 5pm and 7pm on Thursday 14 September. The system will be unavailable during this time.

What is changing?

The only change to the system is how it will look. There will be no other changes to functionality at this point.

What do I need to do?

All current bookings and access will remain in the system. There is no reason these should be changed or removed from the system. If you notice any changes to your bookings, please contact Venues and Events via phone or email and we can assist you.

Why are we doing this?

The upgrade is to improve the user experience for all users to create a more modern and accessible booking platform. We recognise the system in its current form is not meeting the expectations of users and are hopeful this upgrade will close some of the gaps.

Why can't I cancel my booking?

We have currently removed the ability to cancel or change your bookings online. Please contact Venues and Events if you need to make any changes to your booking or to cancel. Please note that some bookings are subject to cancellation fees as per our conditions of hire.
