Are you working on a creative project designed to engage the community on climate action? Are you interested in accelerating community-led climate action in Yarra? Are you keen to lead a project which mobilises and engages our Yarra community in responding to the climate crisis?

Council’s new Climate Action Small Project Grants of up to $2000 support projects which engage and inspire our community to take climate action, including advocating for urgent change, reducing community carbon emissions, and supporting the most vulnerable in our community to prepare for and cope with climate impacts (e.g. extreme weather, energy and food insecurity).

These small project grants also support projects which help our community connect with and value our natural environment, avoid or reduce waste, build stronger social connections to increase resilience to future climate-related shocks and stresses, increase sustainable transport use, and grow local food systems.
