Our current Arts and Cultural Strategy is nearing the end of its term and we are beginning to develop the next strategy.
Our Arts and Cultural Strategy sets out a strategic framework that guides Council action to sustain the municipality’s cultural vibrancy. Yarra has a high percentage of residents who are creative artists, musicians and performers. It is our aim to make arts and culture in Yarra easier to practice and easier to participate in.
We are developing a discussion paper to get a snapshot of the current arts and culture footprint in Yarra and identify key issues and opportunities for the future.
We have just completed our first round of consultation and in early 2020 we will be providing further opportunities to give your thoughts on the next strategy for 2021-2025.
Find out more about how you can contribute and key stages of the project here.
