Registrations for Fringe Furniture 33 are now open
Artists, designers, visionaries, dream-weavers - Fringe want your beautiful, wild, and outlandish design at Fringe Furniture as part of the Festival in 2019.
For 32 wonderful years Fringe Furniture has been a triumph of Melbourne's design scene, smashing the idea of convention, re-writing the design book and turning it into a coffee table.
This year, of course, is no exception.
Our proudly open access Festival means anyone can apply!
PLUS, we've got a bunch of great initiatives as part of the program.
These include:
Fringe Furniture for Gender Equality
Thanks to the ongoing support of the
Naomi Milgrom Foundation, Fringe Furniture actively supports gender equality in the design sector, giving female identifying and non-binary designers 15.3% off their rego fees to redress the gender pay gap.
Ralph McLean Microgrants
This year, our expanded Ralph McLean microgrants program is also giving designers facing structural disadvantage financial support to help get their work off the ground.
