Applications are now open to exhibit or write with SEVENTH Gallery in Fitzroy.

SEVENTH invites proposals for the 2018 Exhibition Program from practitioners of all career stages and art forms.
SEVENTH Gallery is a space that embraces experimentation, risk and diverse artistic practices. We welcome solo or group exhibitions, performances and talks from artists and curators, as well as projects that operate outside of conventional exhibition formats.
Exhibitions run over a three week period coinciding with Gallery opening hours. Successful applicants will receive support from SEVENTH Exhibition Liaison and Curatorial Mentors in the conceptual and logistical development of their show.

WRITE
The SEVENTH Emerging Writers Program provides a collaborative opportunity between emerging arts writers and exhibiting artists. Successful applicants will be paired with an exhibiting artist to produce a text to accompany the artist's exhibition. The format of the text is open to experimentation, and can take the form of a catalogue essay, interview, or creative writing. Writers will be mentored throughout the conceptual development of their work, with critical feedback and editorial advice. Each text will be presented online and in print.
