Richmond Nocturne artist Mark Schaller

Mark Schaller

Yarra resident Mark Schaller’s distinctive raw and expressionistic style is evident in his representation of Richmond’s streets at night.

This work can be seen at the Richmond Town Hall.

Mark Schaller is considered one of Australia’s top mid-career artists. His practice includes painting, sculpture and printmaking. He was a founding member of Roar Studios in Fitzroy in the early 1980s’, which offered emerging artists an alternative to the current galleries available.
