Natasha Johns-Messenger
Infinity Billboard was originally a site-specific photographic work displayed at Billboard Park, on the corner of Gertrude and Smith Streets in Fitzroy, as part of the 2004 Midsumma Festival Program.
Johns-Messenger produces site-determined spatial installations, that use strategically placed mirrors, video and built structures, to give the viewer a disorienting optical experience.
Natasha Johns-Messenger is an artist and filmmaker who was born in Australia, and now lives and works in New York.
This work was produced during her time at Gertrude Studios. Her works have been collected by Museum Victoria, Commonwealth Bank, Escher Museum in the Netherlands, as well as various private collections worldwide.
