Well-established Australian artist Jan Senbergs explores form in architecture, landscape, narrative and history to create monumental feats of semi-abstraction.
He is best known for his panoramic imagined city-scapes portraying distorted perspectives of the subject at hand.
With his trademark solid black line, Senbergs produced two new large-scale etchings in collaboration with Australian Print Workshop Printers in 2013 and Council acquired one for its collection.
These prints combine imagined coastal and city scenes and are a continuation of Senbergs interest in place, landmark and creating ambiguous imagery from structural form.
