In Yarra, we have over 50 indoor and outdoor spaces available for hire. These include 24 outdoor areas, three Town Halls, ten community venues, and seven meeting rooms.

These are available for a range of uses including performances, cultural events, weddings, rehearsals, workshops, meetings, filming, festivals, and more.

If you are a Not-for-Profit group, you may be eligible for discounted use. Choose a venue below and contact our bookings team to find out more.

Note: There are notice periods for booking our venues. Town Halls require ten weeks notice, community venues require two weeks notice, and meeting rooms require ten days notice.

    The Richmond Town Hall was originally built in the Venetian Gothic Style in the 1890s. During the 1930s, when it became Richmond City Hall, the building’s façade received an Art Deco remodel. The main hall space can accommodate up to 200 people for dinners, trivia nights, weddings and a range of other purposes. It features a parquetry dance floor, bar area, commercial kitchen and grand piano.

    The Williams Reserve Community Room is adjacent to a small park and residential apartment building in Richmond. This intimate and modern space is suitable for small meetings and training sessions. The room is located on the ground floor of the building, has capacity for 20 people and is ideal for programs, training sessions, meetings and classes. We will not accept parties or events with loud music, due to close proximity to local residents.
