Artists:

Leilani Le Fleur
The divide between funk, jazz and pop is being blurred, and the result is sing-along hooks, hard grooves and an incomparable smoothness that will leave you in the driver's seat for an interstellar journey. Leilani Le Fleur (aka Le Fleur) is a Melbourne-born & raised artist whose lyricism and storytelling in their pop driven tunes explore themes of society, love, sexuality and social issues through their lens of lived experience as a queer artist of colour. They bring passionate vocals and gritty, hard hitting funk grooves, recalling the acid jazz scene of the early ’90s, the sugar of chart-topping 80’s pop, and the pure funk of the ’70s. This is all wrapped in a sequinned package, thrown into the present day, and mixed with her undeniable individuality and sound.

Tripod
Tripod is Melbourne's own musical comedy trio, Scod (Scott Edgar), Yon (Simon Hall) and Gatesy (Steven Gates). Since their earliest shows Tripod have made a consistent habit of juggling comedy, music and narrative in endless exhilarating combinations, consistently evading neat definitions whilst always striving to stay worthy of their fans' time. They continue to bring an insane level of craft in both comedy and music and combine them in a rich and satisfying way - an ability that has cemented them as a much loved cultural fixture in Australia.

Films:

Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016, PG)
