You are invited to the opening celebration and artist talk for 'circle and settle' – an exhibition by Martin Smith at Res Artis for PHOTO 2022.

'circle and settle' makes visible the unconscious and reflective processes of communication and interpretation that influences every social interaction. The photographs seek to represent new ideas and dialogues into the material essence of communication and connection. Imaged through the evidentiary medium of photography, they form abstracted spaces connected through language.

Join us from 4.30pm on Saturday 30th April at Res Artis for the opening and an informal discussion with the artist – 44 Glasshouse Rd, Collingwood 3066 VIC.

This exhibition is part of the PHOTO 2022 Festival, taking place across Melbourne and extending to cities across regional Victoria. PHOTO is Australia's largest photography event and is delivered in collaboration with over 50 cultural, education, industry and government partners.
