Friday 13 November 2020 - Sunday 31 January 2021

Selection of Brunswick street sketches and illustrations, Helen Wilding, pen, ink and watercolour on paper, 2019

Brunswick Street Fitzroy: Sketches and Urban History is an exhibition of drawings detailing Helen Wilding’s research and ongoing fascination with the history, architecture and communities of Brunswick street, Fitzroy.

Wilding draws on location, soaking up the atmosphere around her while recording details of the street’s old buildings and local community in pen and watercolour. The result is a display of illustrations capturing the street’s rich history and its vibrant artistic and cultural identity.

Please check the Yarra libraries website for access times and opening hours. The exhibition will be available to view from early December, in line with metro Melbourne's road map to reopening.
