Watercolour for beginners

Join Melbourne artist Judith Van Heeren for a one-day online workshop hosted by Fitzroy Painting, to learn the basic skills required for watercolour painting at home.
In this workshop you will learn the basics in using watercolours, colour-mixing, tonal values, preparatory drawing and making a final study. The workshop is divided into two 2-hour sessions with a 1-hour lunch-break in between. The maximum class size is 8 and is suitable for complete beginners and those wanting to refresh skills.
Throughout the class there will be practical demonstrations, one-on-one guidance and the opportunity to ask questions. A materials list will be emailed upon booking. Fitzroy Painting also has kits for purchase at checkout, kits contain seven tubes of artist quality watercolours, a porcelain palette, pad of 300GM cold press watercolour paper and two special brushes. Kits can be collected by arrangement, please email us for details.
*Please ensure you have Zoom downloaded and are familiar with using it prior to your class! There is a free version available.
