Jonathan Sinatra, one of Yarra City Council's Room to Create Artist-in-Residence, will open his studio in Carlton and invite members of the public to a series of performances entitled 'By the Book' by Sinatra and his collaborator, dance artist Thomas Woodman.

The three sessions will take place over the weekend of 17-18 August and will comprise of a participatory experience, a live art viewing and a performance.

Session 1 - Saturday 17 Aug, 12.30pm -3.30pm

Session 2 - Saturday 17 Aug, 4.30pm -7.30pm

Session 3- Sunday 18 Aug, 4.30pm -7.30pm

This is event is free, but registration is essential due to the venue capacity.

For 'By the Book' Jonathan Sinatra has invited Thomas Woodman to unpack and reconfigure practical examples and ideas on dance from a rare book by author Thomas Kaltenbrunner.
