Smith Street Dreaming: One Street. Many Mobs. One Community.

Smith Street Dreaming 2019 celebrates the footprint of Koorie history in Collingwood and Fitzroy, featuring some of the best established and emerging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander musicians and artists.

Now in its seventh year, this project was developed by the Smith Street Working Group to celebrate the relationships between people who live, work or visit Smith Street, and to foster understanding and respect for everyone.

Featuring performances by MC Viv Malo, Emma Donovan & the Putbacks, Robbie Bundle, John Wayne Parsons, Ragerage, Djirri Djirri Dancers, Indigenous Hip Hop Projects
Smith Street Dreaming Choir, and Charcoal Lane Community Artists.

This year's festival will feature photographer James Henry’s portrait project in tribute of ‘The Parkies' in the form of paste ups along Stanley Street.

This is a big-hearted and alcohol free event. Come and enjoy some hospitality around the fire with hot drinks and light lunch provided by Collingwood Soup Van.
