Itchy is an interdisciplinary group exhibition curated by Lorilee Yang, held at Seventh Gallery. The exhibition is a play on themes of ‘itchiness’ as a metaphor for cultural, social and political difference showcasing works by artists occupying diverse and intersecting identities.

The show aims to support and promote the visibility of emerging local artists, poets and writers. The show aims to foster inclusive engagement from local communities, inviting people of all backgrounds to contemplate and discuss notions of diversity. Artists include Sophie Cassar, Brighid Fitzgerald, Annabelle Kingston, Alice McIntosh, Rowan Oliver, Bobuq Sayed, Panda Wong and Lorilee Yang.
 
Come along for free performances on opening night from 7 - 8pm, 26 September by Rowan Oliver and Bobuq Sayed.

Readings relating to the themes of the exhibition will be held on Saturday 13 October, 3 - 4pm by Julie Ha, LeiLei Kung, Kamna Muddagouni, Autumn Royal and Panda Wong.

This exhibition has received a City of Yarra Small Project Grant.

Opening: 6 - 8pm, Wednesday 26 September.
