The Artist as Entrepreneur

The Artist as Entrepreneur is a professional development forum for emerging and mid career artists in partnership with the Print Council of Australia.
This event will bring local experts together to discuss artist experiences, career paths, opportunities and creative entrepreneurship. The forum will be an exploration of new ideas, industry trends and opportunities to generate a real commitment to ongoing learning and artistic development for artists. It aims to enhance artists’ capacity to promote their work to a broader audience, understand their rights artists and develop new skills and knowledge.
The event will be facilitated by NAVA's co-Executive Director, Brianna Munting, and will feature Abi Crompton, (Third Drawer Down), Carla McCrae (Artist), Nikki Lam (Artist & Curator) & Kyoko Imazu (Artist). Speakers will provide insight into their career and experience of creative practice in Australia and there will be a participatory discussion with audience.
